A miniseries of unique lighting that originates from the forms and shapes along the coastline, such as lighthouses and the detailed roughness of nature. By refusing to compromise with materials and in the search for exclusive form, Milovat strives to create a mathematical unity, where mouth blown glass has been pushed to the limits of its possible dimensions. It combines smoke grey glass with such materials as veneer wood, cork and copper.

I'm inspired by the repetition of circles used in the shipping industry and flawless raw nature. For me time is present, only now is real.
Series of freeblown containers.
Coming from the west coast of Norway, the ocean and fishing industry have been my inspiration for this project. I´ve studied the purity of the ocean and its violent rawness. To combine various materials, originated from my studies, I conceived a harmonic intimacy creating juxtaposition. My pursuit is to connect handcraft with the vision of unblemished lines in form. This is the essence in this work given the title ´Buoy´.
